Significance
Rapid advancements are taking place in the arena of Structural Engineering. The industry is in the need of special attention towards the growing needs of innovative Structural Engineering practices. Rapid strides are registered in various Structural Engineering practices, and the same technologies can be further improved by having fruitful discussions at various forums. In this context, this conference gives emphasis on state of the art of Structural Engineering practices and innovations. Keeping the above in view, and to provide a forum for exchange of information and experiences, the Department of Civil Engineering is organizing this International Conference.
Scope
This conference is being organized to provide a unique opportunity for exchanging scientific research and technological achievements accomplished by the scientific community and the practitioners. It aims to bring together engineers, construction practitioners, scientists and researchers to share their knowledge, expertise and experience in various issues and solutions relevant to the present Structural Engineering scenario. The 1st edition of this conference received a stupendous response. It witnessed an audience of about 400 researchers. It received about 300 papers of which 171 papers were accepted and published in the conference proceedings; 79 papers were published in International Journal of Research in Engineering and Technology (UGC approved open access online journal) Volume 04, Special Issue 13. The organizing committee anticipates around 150 to 200 delegates in the present edition.
